I just put the iPhone on a random shuffle of my 20 gigs of music and the first song to come on is "So Long Jimmy" - been a while since I listed to JB! So many memories came flooding in...can't wait for the new album to come out now!!! ;D

Is there any date for the release yet?
This summer my mp4 is going from Cosmos to 9 by Damien Rice, and from that to Live at The Assembly LOL
But today I was feeeling a bit of nostalgia from ATLS tour and while I'm uploading my pics from that tour, inside my head there's a lil' Blunty singing all the time: "...I won't laugh at you, when you boo-hoo-hoo, cuz I looooooooove - you..."

Broken Bells - "The High Road" www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0oFlng8vukGreat band, a collaboration of Danger Mouse and James Mercer from The Shins (amongst others). Actually, the live act I've been impressed with the most at the Melt! festival this summer.

I'm still listening to the "Departures"album almost every day, at home, in the car, everywhere... and by now I feel like I know every scratch on the guitar, every pause for breath and every song so well that it is literally part of my being (cheesy I know, but true), just feels pretty much like home . I might not be able to tell the difference between Apple lossless, FLAC and source audio (I've got a hard copy anyway ), but I DO know FOR SURE that "Departures" is my favourite album of all time, regardless its format! In case I've never said thanks, I'm doing now! Hope some of you are still listening, too!?

Whatever is wrong with it's format? You mean the very shiny outside cover, which we had trouble with as it didn't seem to capture John's autogram?

Tori Amos - Hey Jupiter (album version). AMAZING ------------------------------------------------------ I have to admit that I haven't been listening to Departures that often recently. I rediscovered the demo songs though - there's a CD with demo songs of John to which I have listened countless times recently. Absolutely love "You and I" at the moment. And Tori Amos' "Boys for Pele" hasn't left my CD player for days

Whatever is wrong with it's format? You mean the very shiny outside cover, which we had trouble with as it didn't seem to capture John's autogram? Nothing wrong with the album's format, not even with its sleeve's 'unsignable' surface. It's just, a couple of days ago a friend phoned me as she wanted to purchase the download via John's Facebook store, asking if I knew the difference between the versions available there. Unfortunately, I wasn't of much help. Apart from Apple Lossless, which is pretty self-explanatory, I had no idea what FLAC or source audio was about. I suggested she bought the 'real thing' for the artwork's already totally worth it, even more so when you've got it signed by the man himself. By the way, thanks, Napsi, for your help and messages. I'm just about to reply. ***************************************************** I rediscovered the demo songs though - there's a CD with demo songs of John to which I have listened countless times recently. Absolutely love "You and I" at the moment. "You And I"? I've never heard this one. Just checked the Demos-section of Lewisslade's Budapest page and it would appear you can neither listen to nor download this song from there? Where did you find it, Jenny?
