I went to the chinese rest to pick up dinner, and this guy walks in and says, "I want a pint of Chicken Chow Mein" I had to leave I was laughing so hard.
I think the code word for this place should be chicken chow mein, that way he can tell we are boardies of his!

haven't been around a lot lately..... dictionary doesn't quite translate what the doctor said but muscular cramps and spasm comes rather close... So spending almost 2 weeks with painkillers, medications to relax the spasms (think valium or something similar) and sleeping more than being awake I can finally walk and stretch my legs more or less.... But I am back more or less I just need to tell my brain to stay awake.... lol xx lydia

Thanks for the good wishes I decided to pay my doctor another visit today and just my luck, he decided to send me to hospital for further investigation..... And of course, the hospital decided to find something else wrong with me Apparantly, the spasms weren't the main problem, I seem to have found a way to create a blood clot somewhere in my knee (hence the pain) and am now officially suffering from thrombosis. So they gave me meds (bloodthinners) and dressed me like an old lady with supportive stockings (not sure if that's the word).... mainly I am not allowed to walk or be active for xxx knows how long... but I can sit, hang on the couch, do nothing, get bored and whine about how mean life is for a loooong time... thinking about getting me some kind of weelchair, so I can at least get somewhere.... Any chance of weelchairs being allowed backstage or simply in the space between audience and stage, John? I'm feeling awfully sorry for myself now and wouldn't mind a little advantage coming from this... But seriously, I have medications to solve this sh*t, just going to take me the rest of the year to get better from this Hope all is well with you all, for one wreck on the boards should be more than enough.... lol...

;D perhaps I should ask that wheelchair question in the ' ask john a question' thread... not sure he reads all... and if anyone has any idea to ask it the right way, let me know... might get a guide to accompany me to the section between audience and stage.... ;D
anyone going to Amsterdam? London is already seats only, so that prolly won't matter much...
But still considering going to Oberhausen, so who knows... ;D
