rofl @missy.... you dont need a tripod when you are in a place where they serve drinks... just ask for an empty glass and turn it upside down  Or, which is an option at Rockwood, use the table and lift de front of the (video-)camera with a cloth or the underlayers they usually have for beerglasses.. |

LOL! Good idea, Loraline. I was at the bar because the tables at the front were already full when I got there... So it was a little trickier... But now I know what to do. THANKS! Located in Wolverhampton, UK, under the business name of KardKidPool, item# 380168148499, just in case you wanted to check into it. That can't be legal.......can it?! Hope he's not a friend of yours! It's way under priced by the way  P.S. I LOVE your new video for Let's Run! Thanks for sharing it with us!! I couldn't help myself looking that, and my curiosity is so big, so I wrote an e-mail to the seller to see what's that. This is the answer: Interesting, uh? Okay, the guy says he got it at a record fair and then decided it didn't really fit his musical preferences. I don't really know what a record fair is: I'm guessing that it may be like a trade show, usually for insiders of a particular trade. For example: a jeweler would go to a bead and gem show although they are usually open to the public as well. We call them trade shows in the states............so not really sure if it's the same thing. The guy was polite enough and made the point that he doesn't sell counterfeits or fakes............(of course, who WOULD admit to that!?) Even though I didn't really ask him if he did. So if anyone knows what a record fair is...........please input! |

Well, apart from translation problems that may be, I think record fair would be the translation of the event that takes place some times here in Alicante (and I think in the rest of Spain as well but not sure about the rest of the world), it's like a street market where you can find any kind of album of any year. and where you can buy, sell or swap albums, CD's, cassettes.... I mean, it would be one thing if the record had been released but how many people in the world have gotten a copy of it so far? I'm guessing his family and maybe a couple of really close friends and some radio stations. I think that kind of thing would be frowned upon in the dj world to sell an unreleased record, so it would have to be a very unethical dj. The strangest part to me is that it is laughable how underpriced it is. I mean, what is the motiviation at this point? The list price is less than the seller's fees and cost of mailing... To quote The Hangover, What a "retard." Apologies to anyone who hasn't seen the Hangover yet... You have to see that movie! Devlin's warehouse guy idea could explain that one, perhaps... By the way, did you report it Kerpea? After Blunty's essay on illegal file sharing, I wonder what his thoughts on this prerelease ebay sale would be.... To me, it's just as bad as the fake/stolen Louis Vuittons and Guccis on ebay! I now understand why he wasn't giving them out at the show and feel like a total arse for asking for one! |
