Thanks so much! I've listening to it carefully and repeatly this afternoon, it's beautiful, so sad but comfortable at the end, with good wishes ( ...take good care of yourself...), nothing to do with the rage of Nothing But Hate or the "violence" of Abdicate ;D It also sounds very "demo", lol! "Goodbye My Lover" demo?? Uhm... I have to look for it! It's one of my favourites songs of James. The first was the demo of Out Of My Mind, I got it before knowing who was James Blunt, hahahaha! The "demo" style sometimes suits in some songs (for my opinion, The Bishops), sometimes it doesn't. In this case of All Alone, it's not bad. But.... is it my imagination or this song is very short?  |

I do agree with what you said about the demo songs - especially 'Life gets in the way' is so much better as a demo song.

The "Goodbye My Lover" demo was on an album on iTunes called "Up Close" that was just 3 songs. GML, So Long Jimmy (Acoustic) and Wisemen (Live). I probably bought it about three years ago...not sure if it's still out there. |
