I've looked all the options and I'm not going to be able to come  The only solution would have been to arrive on Friday night but I have a professional meeting in the evening then, on Saturday, the flights are too much expensive (271 € without the return!!!!). Take pictures, videos and everything you can to show us how was this first official gig! |

I can't go either. I could make Alicante-Barcelona-Copenhagen in Saturday and then Copenhagen-London Stansted-Alicante in Sunday, but it would cost 300 € more o less (the cheaper way to go there), plus the hotel, transport, food.... I don't think I have enough money, only 500€ in my bank account  I would have more money if people give me the money I lent them  |

I want to go but I'm afraid of what might happen... With my concert luck, there's no telling what will happen. Why am I picturing myself stuck in the middle of nowhere wherever my lay-over is? Even if I actually make it there, I will be the klutzy one who somehow manages falling and taking out a camera crew or some of John's equipment. I'm now ROFL at the though that if I met him after the concert, I would probably be the one who spilled a gin and tonic on one of his guitars...
I'm headed to Jason Mraz tonight, if all goes well, maybe I'll chance it on booking a trip to Europe... Wish me luck, kids.

train on friday night, arriving saturday morning and leaving tuesday afternoon/evening, so will have time to check out the town too  and looks like there is a cheap place to stay near Copenhagen Central station, so will be downtown and near Valby last edit.... not staying downtown, but near the airport... oh well, 3 nights for 45 euros can't be that bad... lol |

Lucynot completely detailed... but you could take a plane from Barcelona to Hamburg and then train from hamburg to Kopenhagen. you would be on the road from thursday till tuesday, travelling expenses would be app. 42 euro for the flight and 58 for the train... you would need to find a place to stay for a few days tho... but hostels are 15 to 20 euro max per night if you look well. So that would make for 200 euro max travelling and sleeping at a place. ryanair and www.bahn.de for the train  or check www.cheaptickets.nl or www.transavia.comfound a transavia flight there barcelona-kopenhagen for 160 euro... leave on friday, return on sunday

loraline: Next time I want to travel somewhere, I'm going to hire you as my travel agent. You are really great at finding all the best deals!!! Looks like you may be the only one from these boards going to this concert....I hope you will post some photos for us when you get back, and tell us how your adventure went!

I think so.... But Google said Madrid-Alicante was 6 hours, and finally it was almost 3! Still searching options to go to Copenhagen No luck at the moment. Best offer: 280 euros Alicante-Madrid-Copenhagen and way back. Of course I save money on hotels, the flight in Sunday morning departures very early. I've been watching that website of trains around Germany, and I didn't find a list or something with a list of stops or cities where to get a train to Copenhagen I feel dump But money is the problem anyway. I'm gonna send some mails I want my money back! |
