I want to go to London... oh well, guess I'll start saving money for the New York gigs.
The last two videos are up soon - sorry it takes so long, I'm just glad this computer uploads them AT ALL. Also sorry about the quality, it's all a bit shaky as these were the two last songs and I just couldn't hold the camera anylonger.
As for crying... I don't cry easily at gigs, but do when I listen to the songs and am alone. Forgot my mascara, so that wasn't a problem; but as I wore contact lenses I tried not to cry. Had some tears in my eyes at the end of "2nd for the 1st time" though, "So I’ll say goodbye, I’m going home" was just sooo beautiful.
OMG GIG IN LEAM ON THE 29TH - I WANT TO STAY HERE!!!!!!!

COOL! Are you going, Lucy? A concert in the hometown... That's like seeing B.B. in Itta Bena, Mississippi... It's ironic that I had never heard of Leamington until I heard of John, considering that in college, I spent a summer semester in Oxford and several days in Warwick!

I'll be flying with EasyJet from Berlin too. Booked the flights the day after the gig was announced (30.04) and fortunately flights were really cheap at this time, 90€ (return flight). So I think Easyjet is not really an expensive airline, even though air fares vary immensely due to many different things. 90€ return is really not expensive... what was I thinking about then Well... I might be mixing up EasyJet with Air Berlin... I don't know... I know that a friend of mine is flying to Spain frequently and she is booking her flight SOOOOO early because if she'd do it a months or even two months before she's have to pay a fortune... I thought she was flying with EasyJet but could be mistaken... nevermind... 90€ return is pretty cheap... good to know as Copenhagen or Denmark in general is a place I'd like to see at some point too

Looking for another thing, I found this:
"Following the break-up of Budapest in 2006, John Garrison moved to New York City and immersed himself in the city’s music scene in search of a new sound. He recorded a solo album on his own label then left for 15 months to tour with James Blunt as well as playing bass for Leona Lewis and Gary Barlow. While on tour he wrote this album and recorded it with grammy winning producer Matt Shane ( Dashboard Confessional, Rosanne Cash, The Wreckers, Elvis Costello). He is showcasing songs from the new album for labels in London at Monto Water Rats on July 2nd and will be playing in NYC in August. Check out the track Go and Rendezvous. John has a new manager?

Hmm... September... I was just thinking that it might be nicer if the dates get puched back to October... It's so much more pleasant in NYC when it's not so darn hot! Hint, hint, Wink! Of course John should put his schedule around boardies' opinions... LOL!!! ;D ROFL, Missy! And since we're at it... if possible NO date on 23rd August, 'cause that's when Radiohead will be playing an open-air-gig in Prague and I have tickets (which I of course would chuck away at once if there was an overlap with a Garrison-gig... yes I would!). Other than that... October is far too late... I can't wait that long. And after all, NYC in September can't be hotter than London in July!

Have fun @ James Morrison tonight! Looking forward to hearing a review as I have never seen him live. Okay, a few words about my Morrison experience: First of, I had some difficulties to leave home and PC in time because I was bidding for two U2 tickets (they'll be playing in Berlin tomorrow) on ebay. Auction ended about 7pm, shortly before I was about to have a heart attack I finally got the tickets (face value €130/$180 each) at a price of €35 each - hurray! Arrived at Huxley's at 9pm (ticket said: doors 8pm, show starts 9pm), but as soon as I caught sight of the stage Mister Morrison came on (later I learned that the whole thing had been pre-scheduled to 8pm just hours prior to the show, so I missed the support act, Milow, which was a bit annoying as I was really looking forward to seeing him perform) James was accompanied by a 5 piece band and two scantily clad female background singers. Sound was nice, specifically the sound of his acoustic guitar. He really gave his all and one could tell that he really knows what he's doing and loves what he's doing. He looked so very young with the shorter, out of bed hair and although I saw it with my own eyes I still could hardly believe that this amazing, 'bluesy' voice does actually belong to young James. I would have loved if he had played more songs from his first album which I like a whole lot more than his latest work. But most of the songs were from the latter, a lot of funky, up-beat tunes with an obvious gospel-feel to them, performed well of course, it's just not exactly the type of stuff I'm particularly keen on. It was still very enjoyable and I loved that he acted absolutely natural on stage, joking and chatting all the time which obviously helped quite a lot to get the audience going. Oh, and he travels with the same kind of Phoenix buses, green and blue, like Blunty... I was just about to ask if I could have a look for all the things John forgot on the bus when the tour was over. So, looking forward now to seeing the one and only Mister Bono Vox and his oh so amazing bandmates tomorrow at the Olympic Stadium, capacity of about 80,000 (360° tour you know)... for tomorrow, they forecast storm and heavy rain, but I don't really care about the weather. Let's see how it goes!

Jade, Wow, you've been getting to see some great gigs, lately! I hope for your sake that there is no Garrison Gig on August 23rd... I have never seen Radiohead live but have always wanted. I now have plans to be in Greece the first week of October, so I will rescind that October request for you, Jade... Since you can't wait that long! LOL! WOW! Thanks for the great James Morrison review, Jade. It's funny that you said that you like Morrison's first album better because I was just thinking that too. I was thinking that it's ironic that I like Morrison's first album better but Blunty's second album better. By the way, isn't Morrison a little young and early in his career for getting the scantily clad backup singers? Isn't that what the old timers do when the want to make a comeback and can't really sing that well anymore? I hope you have a great time at U2 in Berlin tonight, Jade... Can't wait to hear that review... And hoping for pictures too!
