Are you into mastering as well? I have mastered albums in the past, however if I am producing and recording and mixing I like to take it to someone else to master. My pick is the gentleman that mastered "Above The Cosmos" Fred Kevorkian

.... does make sense actually to get the record heard and mastered by a fresh pair of ears after mixdown's done, and since it's the same gentleman who did such a brilliant job with 'Cosmos' I've got absolutely no doubts that he's got what it takes. 'Above The Cosmos' is by far my favourite album of all time! Being 'the common listener' rather than an expert I can't really say what exactly it is that makes this record work so perfectly for me, I guess it's just the perfect symbiosis of the music and the words, John's vocals and arrangements, the mixing and the mastering. Really looking forward to more of this... bring it on!! Oh, by the way, I too love the picture of the Grammy on your web-site... and the other award looks good as well!!

You had better believe we do our research ;D I hope that doesn't make us look like stalkers...then again I think we may already look like stalkers And I'm glad you said Fred Kevorkian and not Jack Kevorkian...don't want that guy getting his hands on John...LOL (Look him up...you'll see what I mean )

Spent a couple days there back in August of 2002 I think.
Amazing, like a time machine. Some of the gear is updated but basically as soon as you walk into the room and talk, you sound like you're on a beatles record. So much history and nostalgia in those walls. There's a pub in the basement too which is nice.
It was amazing from a historical point, the same pianos the beatles used are still in the studio and there.
I'd love to make another record there someday too...

when John goes touring, will you be at all these concerts or perhaps only a few selected ones?

i worked on a record for beatle cover bands associated with the cavern club in liverpool. it was lame and never came out officially.
the other band we were working with when i was there, but the tracks ended up getting shelved. I've got some great bootlegs tho...
I did most of John's sound at his NYC shows involving a full band. I imagine if the gig is big enough he'll bring me over to do the sound.
