mastering is final sonic step. then packaging and replication. working on scheduling mastering soon. might get it done in UK by the guy who mastering Budapest's first album. As ever, thank you for your reply! May I ask theafroshane more than one question? ... OK, here goes: What kind of music do YOU like to listen to? What's your favorite band or solo-artist? Is there anybody out there you're particularly keen to make a record with, and would be thrilled if they asked you? Why did John call you iMatt? Is this your nickname or was it just a typo? Have you ever been to Berlin? Am I too nosey? (If so, I do apologize.) Thanks for reading, Mister Shane! Cheers J. xx

Can't remember the context of him calling me iMatt. If you find the post or whatever it could jog my memory. I'd love to make a record with mccartney or radiohead if we are dreaming. Realistically, I'd love to work with "Does it Offend You Yeah?," "Robbers on High Street" (which I currently do work with), um I'm sure there are more... Favorite band is probably radiohead but i love kings of leon too. I love anyone that seems like there's nothing between the artist's raw emotions and my ears. Ryan Adams, Kings, Radiohead, Tom Petty, Mr. Garrison, Beatles, Zep, Bowie, Beach Boys... there's tons more... that's just what has been floating around my ipod lately.

THANK YOU for answering!!! You rock, Matt! Never been to Berlin. One day! Hopefully on one of John's soldout tours!! Can't remember the context of him calling me iMatt. If you find the post or whatever it could jog my memory. Oh, you NEED to come to Berlin!! Now all we have to do it getting John a souldout gig around here as soon as possible.... this has to work!!! As for the context, it was written in a blog on MySpace, posted Sep.07, and it was about John's gig at Arlene's Grocery and read: "Thanks to iMatt for a great job on sound and incredible sneakers." Much love J. xx

Great choices...especially Kings of Leon ;D I have had them on repeat on my iPod for a few days now...I don't think I could ever get sick of them! Even though they are OU (University of Oklahoma) fans...you have to be from here to understand that part...LOL!

Would it be more financially advantageous for John, if I bought his new album directly from his website rather than purchasing from another source. I guess a simpler way to ask it: does he have to take a smaller cut when selling through a distributer? I'd like to cut out the middleman if it's better for John, even though I'd have to wait for shipping. Or, is it all the same either way?

And how, exactly, do we buy it straight from John? I can't imagine flying to Heathrow...John meeting me at the airpiort...doing an exchange (CD for money)...me jumping back on the plane to come back here...there is a logistics issue there...plus I would not only be paying for a CD at whatever cost John decides...I'd have to pay for the air fare...thus buying a CD for a substantially inflated value...could cost up to $1500 (US). Hummmm....but the experience would be "priceless"...LOL!

I'll be in UK from 5th June to the 7th ;D My boyfriend says that John should open a travel agent's, a chain of budget hostels, and another chain of restaurants to get more profit from us. LOL Matt, I have a question for you : how did you meet John? I was going to ask another one but I've just forgotten it!
