Can't wait till the Release Party.. I'm guessing you will have some copies of Departures with you then.... See you there! AW!!! Wish I were still up North! Have a great gig! OOPSIE!!! Hey Loraline, I think this was a misread on the date... I think on his website the dates are posted below the entries... So the review was posted today. I don't think there was a second gig at All Asia! LOL!

Yes! I agree with that but I disagreee with the first part of the statement below though: John's music is something very new and exciting to me. I don't think that music has to be experimental, flashy or different to be "new." I personally think there is great beauty in being subtle. That it is understated and gentle is the lovely part of John's work, I think. I wouldn't call it basic at all! In fact, it's quite the opposite, I think. I call it delicate, refined, restrained and just plain beautiful. Subtlety is much better in my opinion than overworked and overly flashy or important songs. Its understated nature and gentless are the things that make John's work new to me! Perhaps this is why he hasn't broken through the glass ceiling yet... People just not getting the beauty of what he is doing... Apart from that, the (funny) twitter update as well: Poor John ;D Haha! Was he singing "Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donovan? Now that's a cover I'd like to hear him do!

* waves .. hi all, anyone hear about John performing with Leona Lewis on television last sunday? I brought this one over to the updates thread, Loraline. Yeah, he twittered about it. 5:01 AM Nov 8th from web We don't get x-factor on tv here but I looked on YouTube. The video I found didn't show any close-ups of the band, only some panoramic shots of the stage. You can kind of see a little of Tom on guitar but you can't really see John or tell whether that's Karl on drums or not. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsEwpVryuVw

@twitter:
ROFL! I've been thinking of John and Pernille everytime TV said something about Climate Change Conference, and saying to myself: luckily their lil' boy hasn't born yet and they don't have to fight to make him sleep with all that noise! LOL
