Yeah, it's amazing, I found it when I was going to check the blog and I was shocked, really really great one, I like it very much! New sections (gallery at last! ;D ;D ;D) And Let's Run as soundtrack! But not guestbook anymore Anyway, it looks very well, more professional ;D Have to agree, the new website looks really, really great. Nice that now most of the info appears on the opening page (showdates, links etc.) and that there is music too. 'Wide screen' pic is also great and that you can switch from Mister Garrison to Mister Shane by cursor move... I just did that... left, right, left, right... to the sound of Let's Run... until it made me feel dizzy... 'the room was humming harder as the ceiling flew away'... verrry nice... And WOW, this has to be the most beautiful photograph of John ever... the 'ultimate shot' really... (plus it reminds me of my favorite place in London, the area around Smithfield Market) Thanks to Julian Hayr! I too love that shot! Julian is a great photographer! The subject isn't half bad either! I love the new website too! It is much nicer and easier to navigate now that everything is on the first page! The way the pictures fade from one to another in a sort of liquidy way is a nice graphic. Yes, Jade, got to love scrolling from John to Afroshane and back again... P.S. Way to go, Kitine! Your videos are on John's website! ;D P. P.S. I'm glad my spastic drunken message that I put on the old website the other day when the message board was down didn't make it to the new website... Haha! I though I had broken the message board because it died the other day when I tried to post a message. I couldn't get on it for a couple of hours and so I really was afraid I had killed it... So I left a message on the website! LOL! I think I need help for my Garrison addiction! I'm near to heart attack and there's no reason because we HAVE TO wait until November, but John has just written this on his blog: Twitter Updates wooo haaaaa ....... Departures CD's just arrived at my door 4 minutes ago C'mon John, you like to make us more impatient or what? ;D Yeah, John! Congratulations! Woo Hoo! I'm so happy for you, John! ;D Hey Lucy, I think he kind of likes torturing us... He knows we're dying to hold copies in our hands and that waiting 'til November is killing us!!! Someone's just a big tease, me thinks... LOL Kidding, John! Now I have that song "Gone 'til November" by Wyclef Jean in my head. Haha!

Nice to find that I'm not the only one who gets entertainment about the pic that moves LOL ;D That's a great shot, but, I don't know why, I think it makes John younger Maybe it's because of the hair... And I was amazed by the pic at Millenium bridge. I want the secret to get photographs at night in London (I can take pics everywhere at night except London, they're always SO blurry ) Now we can listen I Leave On Friday as well ;D Any of you have tried to comment news or Kitine videos? Comments don't work for me I've tried to comment Departures news and it only reloads the website And what's that about mail list ("Join our list to get a free mp3")?? (Geek question : what's that tall figure/toy/something over mixing table, at left hand side of the 'Wide screen' pic?)

That's a great shot, but, I don't know why, I think it makes John younger Maybe it's because of the hair... And I was amazed by the pic at Millenium bridge. I want the secret to get photographs at night in London (I can take pics everywhere at night except London, they're always SO blurry ) I have a picture of myself on the Millenium Bridge but mine is not at night and mine is not nearly as sexy as John's pic! Hehehhhhaaaaa! Hey lucy, I am a bit of an amateur photographer and I have found that getting a good night shot all depends on the type of camera. I like my little hand-held, digital cannon for daytime but it is total C*** at night! I have never gotten a good night shot with a little hand-held camera and I have learned that if you use the flash, it just makes it worse. My shots at the Blunty gig are evidence of that. I have an old still film minlota that I love for night shots. It all depends on the flash speed and shutter speed and it's really hard to get it right. Plus, you have to use high speed film (1200 is best) which is really hard to find. To me, it looks like there was probably enough light coming from the bridge itself that Julian didn't need a flash, but I could be wrong. I lugged that big, old camera half way across London when I went to Blunty's O2 gig, but they wouldn't let me take it into the arena. I had to check it in a locker and then I lost the ticket, so I had to stand there and wait until everyone else had picked up their cameras. HEHE! Just my Charlie Brown luck. Next time I am going to try and see about a press pass... Those guys had HUGE CAMERAS!!!! Any of you have tried to comment news or Kitine videos? Comments don't work for me I've tried to comment Departures news and it only reloads the website And what's that about mail list ("Join our list to get a free mp3")?? I haven't actually tried the videos, comments or mailing list. I figured that if you were on the old one, they still had it but I don't know... Twitter updated: "wine, sunshine, pool, South France makes John a happy bunny, if a little bit of a fat one - 20 mins ago " And comments on news now work but not for the cover of Departures, Webmaster! ROFL! "Happy Bunny!" Too cute! Good thing he's English. I don't think it would come off as adorable if an American guy used that phrase! "If a little bit of a fat one."......... Is that the male equivalent of, "Do these jeans make me look fat?" Didn't he make a comment months ago about being fat? I think maybe someone is craving some praise and attention... So here goes: He always looks very nice to me! ;D ... Then again, I haven't seen him lately. HEHEHAAAA!

New news!!! Not about Departures but about quite interesting thing!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D "The music and images of John Garrison will be featured on the the wall at the British Music Experience." About the British Music Experience The British Music Experience is a completely immersive, interactive exhibition, combining cutting edge audio-visual technology with some of the most coveted music memorabilia of all time and the only exhibition where you can select your favourite content and media recordings to keep. You can trace historic, era defining moments and trends through 60 years of music history, learn about British music’s influence on art, fashion and politics, feel the thrill of being in the crowd at a legendary gig, flick through virtual record collections, eavesdrop on fantasy dinner parties and search across a giant interactive music locations map of Great Britain.
There are infamous, iconic pieces of British music memorabilia featured including David Bowie’s Ashes to Ashes clown suit and Ziggy Stardust costume, Noel Gallagher’s Union Jack guitar, Roger Daltrey’s Woodstock outfit and a vintage Amy Winehouse dress.
Not only that, you can develop your skills on guitar, bass, drums and in the vocal booth at the Gibson Interactive Studio and even your dance moves in Dance the Decades.
We also have a full public and educational programme with workshops, lectures, master-classes and concerts aiming to help teachers raise standards in your school across the national curriculum for children aged 8 to 16 and for the qualifications aimed at young people aged 14 to 19.
And finally, when you return home you can log into your MyBME library and access all of favourite bits of the exhibition and continue your trip through music history.
www.britishmusicexperience.com/I don't know if exhibition is permanent (it looks like that, because there are tickets until December 2010!). Tickets are 15£ (ordinary price - there are some other prices with discounts, even for Fan Clubs!!) and opening hours are from 10.00 to 18.30 (it's open all the week!) www.ticketmaster.co.uk/British-Music-Experience-tickets/artist/974643I guess there are loads of people going, so it's a good chance for John's music! And the exhibition is about such great bands and singers: Pink Floyd, The Cure, Blur, Coldplay, David Bowie, Oasis, The Beatles (check www.britishmusicexperience.com/index.cfm?PageID=208 ), The Rolling Stones, Duran Duran... (but not info about James - he's not from UK??) *Checking flight prices for 1st weekend of October* LOL!!! It would be GREAT if that exhibition COINCIDES with something interesting too like a CONCERT....
