I saw "I Love you, Man" and "17 Again" yesterday. "I Love You, Man" was very funny funny.... And it has Lou Ferigno, The Original Incredible Hulk... LOL! I had been wondering what he has been up to since the 80s. For a girly teen flick,"17 Again" was pretty cute though it was really, really, really cheesy and a typical Disney flick.
Hey Lucy, "What happens with the men?" That's hilarious! I don't know why they often change the titles to foreign films in the US too, especially with French films. There is a French film with the great actress, Natalie Baye, and Spanish actor, Sergi Lopez, that is translated as "An Affair of Love" for American audiences but was titled "Une Liason Pornographique" in French. I guess they changed for the prudish American audiences and so that they would not think it was porn which it isn't... It is a pretty racy French film though but also very dark, sad, romantic and incredibly tragic all at the same time, just as all french films should be!!!

About "17 Again" I have a question: the main character, in adult, is Matthew Perry, isn't he? Does he appear many times in the film?

Matthew Perry is in the beginning and end but not middle. I LOVE Matthew Perry! I think that Zac Efron looks more like Rob Lowe though. LOL!

Yes, I agree, I don't see very similar thing between Matthew (OMG, I think of Matt's mother when I say this name) Perry and Zac Efron. Thanks for the info!

I also saw the Hangover... Absolutely hilarious! Love this one! It's right up there with Office Space, Old School and Animal House... Though I'm glad I didn't take my Mom to see it. I don't think she could have handled it. Well...I finally went to see "The Hangover" this past weekend...I swear it was one of the funniest movie I have seen in a very long time...I laughed sooooo hard my muscles hurt...I can't wait to see it again and slow down the end and really take it all in!!! ;D Thanks for the recommendation! Finally I went to see "The Hangover" yesterday. I couldn't agree more! It was really, really funny and I too laughed so hard that my muscles hurt! ;D Was a bit of a mayhem at the cinema though, as Quentin Tarantino, Brad Pitt and the rest of the gang were showcasing their latest work, "Inglorious Basterds" and getting into the act on the red carpet at the same time. Next thing on my list: "Bruno" (it's "Brüno" here in Germany, LOL). I only saw a trailer which I thought was absolutely hilarious. I'll report back once I've seen the entire movie.

Glad to hear you liked The Hangover, Jade. I think my favorite part was the "Rainman" spoof. I also loved the police station scene. Oh, I've never been to a movie where they were having a red carpet premiere. That's exciting, Jade. I like Brad Pitt's early work a lot but have been not crazy over his latter movies. Got to love Tarantino. "Pulp Fiction" is my fave of his though I am usually a little squemish on the Bruce Willis basemsnt scene. I've always wondered what he was thinking on "From Dusk 'til Dawn." The first half is a robbery movie and then it ends up a vampire movie with Cheech Marin... What??? Crazy!!! Who else could think of and get away with that but Tarantino?
Hey Jade, Just out of curiosity... How did you get the text to do the accent over the u? I was thinking that when typing Bruno that it should have that symbol (that I don't even know the name of) but I didn't know how to do it.
I had a Leonardo DiCaprio marathon the other night... "Blood Diamond" and "The Departed." He is an incredibly great actor and so hot! Both are very bloody movies but have great plots. A+ for both!

Speaking of Brad Pitt, has anyone seen the movie 'Snatch'? He was really good in that and it also has Jason Statham in it! I have to love Brad Pitt because he is from my state and he went to college just down the street from my college, so we had the same stomping grounds for a year before he left and went to Hollywood ! Local boy makes big ;D

Oh, I LOVE "Snatch!" That's actually my favorite Brad Pitt movie. I still have to use subtutles though. LOL! I love "Legends of the fall" too! I do like Mr. Pitt, it's just his last few movies that I am not crazy over. I fell asleep in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." It was just boring to me. Probably cuz I'm not a guy, I guess. Hehe!

Ya, I didn't care for Mr. & Mrs. Smith either, I don't know why. My husband Loves that movie, but I don't think I've seen more than half of it. I think he's doing more 'off beat' humor types lately. Not for everyones taste.

Glad to hear you liked The Hangover, Jade. I think my favorite part was the "Rainman" spoof. I also loved the police station scene. There were soooo many funny scenes... yeah, police station scene was great, and I loved the 'snapshots' at the end. It also made me giggle that the 'working girl's' name was Jade, LOL. Oh well, Jägermeister will never taste the same again... ;D Oh, I've never been to a movie where they were having a red carpet premiere. That's exciting, Jade. We get that alot here, not only during the Berlinale, the annual, international film festival. There's a movie premiered almost every week at this movie theatre I've been to. It's a 'multiplexx' cinema with 3 floors and about 15 screens, situated in the heart of the city. Last time I saw Brad Pitt in a movie was "Troy", so I can't comment on his more recent work. Gotta love Tarantino too, Missy. I think he's a bit of a freak and has a rather fucked up sense of humor, yet he's a brilliant director and screenwriter. As for 'Pulp Fiction', that's a great one and to see Travolta's incredible dance moves is already worth all the money. Hey Jade, Just out of curiosity... How did you get the text to do the accent over the u? I was thinking that when typing Bruno that it should have that symbol (that I don't even know the name of) but I didn't know how to do it. That's easy for us Germans 'cause we've got special keys for ü,ö,ä. These are called Umlaute, 'umlauts' in English I think. Every time I'm in another country such as Spain, France or the States it takes me some time to get used to the fact that these letters are missing and many of the keys are in different places. 'Leo' marathon? - Aww, how nice!!!!

What's it about? Oh, I LOVE "Snatch!" That's actually my favorite Brad Pitt movie. I still have to use subtutles though. LOL! I love "Legends of the fall" too! Not for everyones taste. Then I'm the only one who liked it? Ok, I went to see it because there was a Mark Owen song on the soundtrack (a song that finally wasn't on the film but it was on the album soundtrack!), but I was laughing as mad while watching it. Don't know why, Brad Pitt is not of my favourites actors (well, for me there's no one like Johnny Deep ;D ) and Angelina Jolie, the same, but the film has some jokes that liked so much. Now I know what film is the Hangover LOL, it's already on cinemas here. But it looks like that kind of movies that I like to watch at home I'm dying to see Alice In Wonderland (Alice in USA). I love Tim Burton films, I cannot wait to watch it, but it's not fair, IMBD (Internet Movie DataBase) hasn't write Spanish date for the premiere 1st date will be in Germany, the 4th of March, lucky germans Last film I saw was Coraline ("Coraline and the secret door" in Australia, "Coraline's Worlds" in Spain... Translators, bleh!), which was a good film to discuss with my friends if that film is for children or not. I like it very much anyway, probably I'm going to buy it I liked very much the story of the little girl in The Other World where she has everything she wants, but everything is not as easy as it seems. I love the character of the cat, it's so funny!

Sometimes I wonder what's wrong with me... I don't know why but I'm just not into movies and cinemas at all... I mean I go there just not that often... once a year is actually quite a lot for me...
Though I hope they'll still be showing "My Sister's Keeper" when I'm in Dublin in two weeks... so wanna see that movie in English... it just won't be the same in German...
Anyone seen it already?

Anyone seen it already? can't wait to see it too. but thanks to our 'lovely' President we cannot see any movies normally - only low-quality Ukrainian translation instead of Russian it's not that interesting watching how Bred Pitt speaks in Ukrainian. even below Russian films they write Ukrainian translation... (althogh we are Ukrainians we speak our native language only at school (even not all the time) and watch news, except for 2 or 3 regions)...
