How strange... But it's a German film, isn't it? Maybe looking up by the original name in German, or the original is Barbarian Princess? Looks like an interesting film, although it reminds of Pocahontas.

Speaking of Pocahontas, did y'all see the Colin Farrell movie "The New World" about John Smith and Pocahontas? It was beautifully filmed and the love scenes are really incredible though the plot is a bit slow! The actress in Barbarian Princess is the one who played Pocahontas in "The New World." I think The Barbarian Princess is in English... Looks like all the actors are either English or American... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KaiulaniLooks like they thought about changing the name from barbarian princess to the last princess though there was already an asian film called the last princess... A remake of a 1950s Kurosawa film... asianmediawiki.com/The_Last_PrincessMy Mom and I saw Julie & Julia yesterday. It is one of the best films I have ever seen. Most guys would probably be skeptical of seeing it and call it a chick flick but I think it is a great film for everyone. It's not just about cooking. It's about struggling to find onself... Trying to do what you love most in life. What I love about the story is that Julia broke the stereotype of the 1950s housewife and was the only woman in her class at the Cordon Bleu. Though I relate more to the younger character, as she, like myself, is not a prefessional chef but an amateur cook who just loves food. We are going to see Post Grad today... Excited about that one as it has one of my favorite actresses, Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls!

No, I haven't seen "The New World" yet. Oh dear, I have to watch more movies!! Well, the film obviously is called "Barbarian Princess" here. Yes, I think the actors are British or American. The person who asked me about it said that the film was meant to be out in Germany first, which is strange.
Ah, I only read some reviews about Julie & Julia, but haven't thought about watching the movie. Maybe i should...

Yes... I definitely recommend The New World. It's not new. It came out in 2005, so you can find it on video. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_WorldHmmm.... Interesting that The Barbarian Princess would come out in germany First... I just saw Post Grad... Hilarious and soooo Cute! After the movie, when my Mom and I were walking out, she said, "Who was that boy? He's a hunk." I just burst into laughter and told her that I had never actually heard anyone use that word before. She asked me what word I use. I said I don't know but I certainly have never used the word "Hunk" before. ROFL!!!!
