Hey John, What's the clacking noise on "I want you?" It's a sample I made by opening a door with a bell on it.

Do you get nervous in interviews? No I haven't so far. I'm sure if the subject was awkward it would be different

Hi John, thought I'd ask you this: Since the Massive Attack song isn't quite so new anymore, should we assume there's a new baby in the making? As for Westlife's cover of Daughtry's "What About Now", I wonder if this is the version that features you on bass? www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaRxUieZFqc&channel=westlifeWho would have thought it comes the day where I'm seriously considering adding a Westlife record to my music collection (which is a mess, I know... ;D). ?? ?? ??THANK YOU! Yes its a ridiculously catchy new song. Not very "me" though so probably one for the vault. We'll see Yes that is the Westlife song I played on I am still working on it...!!!

Hi John, Questions, Questions, Questions: Is this a recent picture, and did you work with James on his third album? On which song did you use the percussion track, put on from a hotel room in Moscow? And which songs came to life whilst working in your bunk on the tourbus? What was the nicest thing ever written about you? And the rudest? Considering that there will (hopefully) be a few gigs or even a tour coming up in 2010, I think a seperate board for shows/live performances would be a good thing. I like it nice and tidy , and it's all a bit messed up at the moment, some threads in the "General" section, some in "Departures". Do you think you could set up a "LIVE" section? Thanks in advance! I worked on some new JB songs in Jan. Wether they get on the album is up to him and his label. I can't remember exact details of where i did what. The percussion track in Moscow was Let's Run I think. But not sure. Nicest thing.... hmmm..... probably the Britsounds review. rudest thing was probably when someone criticised my lyrics and then quoted "Let's tare down the walls of this hotel" as his example. I found the fact that he had the right to review my music and was being paid to do so, incredibly rude. I don't mind bad reviews at all if someone genuinely has an opinion about it. But this guy hadn't dome his homework and hadn't bothered to make sure he heard the lyrics right before commenting on how bad they were. Lazy writing. That is very rude

Hi John, I see that you are coming to Toronto in March. Is there any chance that you give a concert in Montreal? Please, think about it. You know that Montreal is a very welcoming city for musicians and artists. We have the reputation to be a nice crowd here. Just remember James at the Bell Center in November 2008. We have plenty of nice venues for you as well. And I wish you a Happy Birthday, just a little bit late. xx Yes I am coming to Montreal actually. I'll keep you posted on the date. It will be in March. Tell your friends please

Hi John, Upon finally hearing the full album version of "2nd for the 1st time," I could not help but immediately thinking that this song could perhaps be John's answer to Jim Croce's "New York's not my home" and that you were trying to say, "Hey, Jim, NY's not so bad." Would you say that is true at all? I have been listening to them back to back, Jim's first and then yours. I couldn't help but hear a bit of him in your work. I think it's the quiet, gentle, delicate and understated nature of both his songs and yours. Do you see this at all? Sorry for comparisons, I know artists generally don't like it. We fans just can't help it sometimes. And for me at least the Croce comparison is a definite compliment... One of my all-time favorites! Thanks, Missy XOXO Never heard that song and never heard of him. Sorry. Must have not crossed the atlantic John...you have to look him up! Google him! Wikipedia him! He had a hit with a song called "Time in A Bottle" and "Bad Bad Leroy Brown"...I wouldn't be suprised if you'd heard him without realizing who he is. He is a legend that was taken from us way too soon! I think you'd really enjoy his music! ;D

Later better than never: Thanks so much, John, for spending some of your free time here answering all our questions. Quite interesting info So, another question (I can't help myself LOL sorry ): As you did with Dreamstealers and Go, did you take anything from old Budapest demos and mixed it with any track of Cosmos or Departures? How would be a videoclip of A&A if you had all the money and things you need to do it? Congratulations for you and Pernille, thanks for showing the pic of your more-than-beautiful son. How is the mum and the little Viktor? And you? ;D ;D
