I would have taken that flight to New York this morning... if I had had the 268 euros, the time and a place to stay. I somewhow regret it, even though it wouldn't have been possible...

I would have flown up there in a heartbeat but I got a great opportunity to be an extra in a movie that is being filmed here in OKC...sorry John...I just couldn't pass on this chance...I know you understand. Next time he is in NYC that will give me a good excuse to go and meet up with some old friends and even do a little shopping. I HOPE there is a next time!

So, I'm back from London and still on cloud nine because of this absolutely fantastic concert experience. My trip started with a bit of a fiasko for my flight had been pre-scheduled and I almost missed it, and other than that the pilot failed to get the aircraft landed in London city airport due to massive problems with the speed brakes that were out of order. So he then decided to fly us to Stansted and after a lot of trouble I eventually arrived at my hotel at 3pm. Then did some 'speed shopping' and headed to the O2 at half past seven. When I got inside Teddy Thompson was on. Since I wasn't that blessed with good support acts in the past, as far as Blunty gigs go, I rather liked him. At 9pm James and the boys took the stage and I really, really enjoyed the show. I had a great seat, much better than expected - being 4th row on the very right side (view to stage) I was afraid I'd get to see nothing than James and the back of Paul at the piano, but that fortunately wasn't the case. Was able to stand and dance almost all the time and had an amazing sight at John and all the other band members. Only when James was performing on piano in the middle of the venue, I've been having a hard time focusing on the main event as I didn't want to miss a thing going on on the main stage. Having Billyboy dancing to my right side made it even harder to keep track of who did what. ;D It really was bloody awesome, James sounded incredible and the set was refreshingly new with the recently added songs and some other special titbits. ;D ;D After the show it was nice to say Hello to some of the boardies from James' messageboard and to talk to loraline of course (hope you made it home safely that night!! ). Would do the whole trip again in a heartbeat!!! Roll on Leipzig, see you there!! ;D J. xx

Hi girls,
I can't stop thinking about how fantastic the gigs in Germany are going to be for our beloved John! Many of you are from that country and I hope that you are going to make the gigs special for him!
I'll be there for the Oberhausen gig.
I'm one of the biggest Karl's fans and I’m also crazy about John (but not in the same way ;-)). I’m used to shout “I love you Karl!” and “And I also love you John!” while all the audience is shouting “WE LOVE YOU JAMES!”
I hope that in Oberhausen I wouldn’t be the only one to express my love for John lol
Can’t wait to meet you all! See you on Saturday!

Unfortunately I am not going to go to Oberhausen....
Yes, I thought of shouting out "I love you" tomorrow as well.... would be the only one I guess as my sister doesn't want to do so.
